Royal Workshops

The architectural, stratigraphical, and contextual analysis of the Royal Workshops is currently being embedded in and illustrated by a 3-D virtual reality model, a product of collaboration with Dr. Donald Sanders and the Institute for the Visualization of History. This 3-D model will constitute an interactive learning tool, but also a pioneer and dynamic publication platform with a powerful database, incorporating and illustrating the architectural development of the buildings with all successive construction or modification phases, their exterior and interior features, decoration, form and function, as well as full catalogues of finds, photos, drawings, stratigraphical and excavation reports at the touch of a button.
